The essence of the project is on developing and supporting networks of relationships between the region and Europe. 

Key objectives being to:

• Enhance the profile of West Midlands ICT SMEs and regional ICT structures in the EC so that West Midlands SMEs have greater representation in EC structures and decision making;
• Improve the provision of information in order that West Midlands SMEs can learn about new and relevant collaborative funding opportunities; 
• Optimise linkages between West Midlands’ SMEs and those from other European regions so that resulting relationships will increase the potential for West Midlands SMEs to be invited to join future collaborative bids.

The focus of the project is to assist regional ICT businesses within the areas of:

• RFID
• Wireless
• Mobile
• Security
• Informatics
• Photonics
