This has since helped to boost funding for research projects including the highly successful Integra Project. The Pan European project was devised to develop an accessible and universal software media for the composition and performance of music using live electronics. The success of the project has led to a further €1.9 million investment for Integra 2, for a further three years. Other areas of research interest include Early Music and Music & Health, which is concerned with ways in which performance art can impact on a person's health. |
